Summer University at Balaton

Universitas Foundation, University of Pannonica, is organizing Summer University at Balaton entitled Hungary - the WINEderland.

Do you know that:

- Hungary has all those features to be able to produce worldwide famous wine? Louis XIV said "vinum regum, rex vinorum" about the wine from Tokaj?

- Hungary has all the geographical features to make it various?

- Hungary has 22 wine-district?

- Tokaj-Hegyalja became the first closed wine-region in 1737?

- Hungary has a great and spicy cuisine which provides a wide variety of chances to have an unforgettable meal with the best choice of wine?

- culture and wine is interconnected and in Hungary a huge amount of artists have been inspired by this topic?

- you can take part in an international event near Lake Balaton, Hungary?

- in Europe in the Middle Ages many orders of knighthood of wine were founded?

If you want to be the part of an international summer university about wine growing viniculture and the scientific and cultural world of it, apply for the Summer University at Balaton, have a taste of the wine- country of Csopak and be familiar with the Hungarian viniculture.

English online course is also the part of the summer university to avoid the differences in your English knowledge.
